My child will be absent, is ill, will arrive late or leave early

Please call the ofice no later than 8:30 a.m. For the safety of the children, it is necessary that they all be accounted for each morning. Any child arriving afer 8:20 must check in at the office before going to the classroom. I your child does not arrive at school, and we have not heard from you, you will be called.

Where is the game this afternoon?

If you have a question about a scheduled game or practice, team reeturn times, a cancellation or postponement because of weather or an other circumstance, please call the Sports Phone (413) 528-4015 ext. 150. The Sports Phone is frequently updated, particularly when weather may change planned activities. Check after 1 p.m. on game days for the latest information.

Snow Day?

A snow day is called when travel conditions are deemed unsafe. The decision to cancel school is usually made by 6:30 a.m. and is usually made in conjunction with the Berkshire Hills Regional School District since they provide bus service for the school. If Berkshire Hills Regional School District cancels school due to snow, we are also closed.

Because many of our students commute from outlying districts and because the school is located in a rural area, we occasionally must make independent decisions, regarding school closures. Every effort is made to make early decisions, which are then communicated by:

2. The school's answering machine, no later than 7:00 a.m.
   
   
3. Teachers will begin the phone tree to notify parents about the closing. If you get an answering machine when you are calling about a snow day, leave a message and call the next person on the phone tree list.
