Education may be the most important commitment you make for your child; its value extends far beyond the classroom, shaping your son’s or daughter’s experience through a lifetime. The Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School is committed to working with every current and prospective parent to make a GBRSS education possible.

The GBRSS Tuition Assistance Committee makes grants to students once they have been accepted and have enrolled at the school. Awards are given based solely on financial need.

Once candidates have completed all required forms, the school begins the tuition assistance process by reviewing the information provided on the tuition assistance application form. In evaluating a family’s ability to contribute toward their child’s education, a family’s income, assets, expenses and other circumstances, including family size, are taken into account. All tuition assistance information is completely confidential.

On average, roughly 50% of all school families have received assistance that enabled them to attend the Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School. Tuition assistance is available for nursery through eighth grade. A sliding tuition scale is also available for Early Childhood and First Grade programs and most often will eliminate the need to apply for additional assistance.

Tuition assistance deadlines are included in the policies available here. We welcome you to call the Business Office (413)528-4015 x101 at the GBRSS office or email business@rudolfsteinerschool.org if you have questions.

The Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School is an independent coeducational school accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of New England, and is a member of AWSNA. We welcome students without regard to race, creed or national origin.
