GBRSS is a member of the Northeast-Quebec Region of AWSNA, the Association of Waldorf Schools in North America. The Northeast-Quebec Region and the Mid-Atlantic Region are holding a joint conference at our school entitled The Awakening Self: Sleeping and Breathing in Adolescence. The conference will begin the evening of Friday, October 16, continue through Saturday and culminate at noon on Sunday, October 18. Dr. Steve Sagarin, our Waldorf High School Faculty Chair and teacher, will be leading a working session on Saturday afternoon. Registration is required and members of our community can attend for a reduced fee of $75. Even though the conference is designed for high school and upper grades teachers, other interested adults are welcome.
