Internet Safety: An Evening for Parents – Thursday, February 4, 7:30 p.m. in our the Library

Bob O’Haver of Graymatter Technologies and Steve Hoff, our consulting psychologist, will lead an evening of informative presentation and discussion on Internet safety. We cannot emphasize too strongly the importance of this topic for all parents, particularly those with middle school students. Bob O’Haver and Dr. Hoff bring a combination of expertise in this area that is exceptional.

Bob O’Haver knows technology inside out. He is a teacher, consultant, blogger and adviser. He hosts the weekly technology-based radio show, “Computer Therapy” on 97.7 WBCR. His wide breadth of experience has given Bob knowledge of the use of computers and Internet technologies that is particularly helpful for parents.

Dr. Steve Hoff has many years of experience in working with students, parents and teachers in meeting the cultural and social dynamics of today’s world. In his work as teacher, therapist and group facilitator, he has enabled parents to meet their children in a way that enables families to deal successfully with difficult issues and foster healthy relationships.
