A Waldorf-inspired summer day program for children entering grades K – 8
Players 4yrs-K
The easy-paced day of the Kindergartener is in many ways a summer version of our Early Childhood Program and includes:
- Daily opening circle of song, verse
- Snack preparation, craft activities and story time
- Creative indoor play and structured outdoor play
- Supervised pool time and river walks along the Green River
Discoverers Grades 1-3
This group starts each day with a daily circle of song and then enjoys some of summer’s sweetest pleasures:
- Outdoor games, craft projects and other special events
- Pool swim with lessons and river exploration
- Horseback riding
- Full day trip to a lake for picnicking, swimming and beach fun
Adventurers Grades 4-5
Fourth and fifth graders thrive on the challenges and new adventures their week brings:
- Outdoor games, kite making and flying, and other special events
- Pool swim with lessons and river exploration
- Horseback riding
- Full day trip to a lake for picnicking, swimming and beach fun
- Recreational or informative field trip to a local place of interest
Explorers Grades 6-8
This popular program for middle-schoolers offers an active, on-the-go week of outdoor challenges and comraderie such as:
- Sports, games, biking, hiking, and rock climbing
- Kayaking, pool swim with lesson , and river tubing
- Exploration of “natural wonders of the Berkshires”
- Each Explorer is invited to a special celebration event in week 7
- Friends from the Munich Waldorf School join the group as exchange campers.
Participation in the Explorers requires moderate endurance and adequate biking skills.

Registration
Each session runs Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Weekly rate is $225.
Groups fill up, so enroll early!
To reserve your space, call the school (413) 528-4015 ext. 151 or email office@rudolfsteinerschool.org to receive a brochure with registration form. Return the registration form with a non-refundable deposit of $100 for each week enrolled. Balance is due Monday of each session. We recommend a minimum of two weeks enrollment.
Deposit will be returned only if session you request is full. We require a minimum number enrolled for sessions to be held. Please note: A $25 service fee will be incurred for changes in weeks enrolled.

Additional Information
Head counselors are adults experienced in working with groups of children, who have the support of an assistant counselor.
Swimming lessons take place at Simon’s Rock College. Horseback riding lessons take place at Blue Rider Stables. Transportation to off-campus activities is through GBRSS mini-buses. Lake day transportation is provided by Massini Bus Co.
